Academic Branch:

The functions of the Academic Branch include academic planning, coordinating activities of the Faculties and Departments, fostering linkages with other units/branches of the University, and facilitating research activities. The Deans of the Faculties, the Heads of Departments and the Faculty members actively engage in accomplishing the academic objectives of the University. The main functions of the academic staff are curriculum and Programs development preparation of self-instructional material, preparation of radio, audio and video materials, monitoring and maintenance of academic standards and promotion of discipline-based and system – based research. The Faculties have developed self-instructional learning materials for more than 307 Programs supplemented by about 2100 radio audio and about 220 video programs.
