   Public Relations Branch:

The Public Relations Branch acts as the "link" between the University and the Public. The Public Relations Officer, Assistant Public Relations Officer and the Secretarial staff handle enquiries (personal), post and telephone, bring out the News Bulletin (Opvarsity News), and issue press releases, liaise with different branches and sister organisations, bring out brochures, pamphlets etc, release admission notifications to newspapers and magazines, look after employees relations, meetings and convocation arrangements, reception and hospitality of visiting dignitaries to the University, and issue press notifications giving information to the students through the Press, the AIR and the Doordarshan.
