The University is offering SAF - Manjeet
Singh Scholarship worth of Rs.4500/- per annum to the students who have
been admitted into the following programmes of I/II year offered by
Dr.B.R.A.O.U. and pursuing the programmes now.
1. P.G.Programmes (M.A.,
M.Com., M.Sc., M.L.I.Sc.)
2. P.G.Diploma in Marketing
Management
3. P.G.Diploma in Business
Finance
4. P.G.Diploma in Writing for
Mass Media
5. P.G.Diploma in Human
Rights
6. P.G.Diploma in
Environmental Studies
7. P.G.Diploma
in Womens Studies
The following is the eligible criterion:
a) For I year applicants:
1. Each applicant must become a
member of SAF by registering on the Website: www.southasiafoundation.org.
2. Download the application
immediately after becoming the member from the same website under head
"scholarships".
3. Applicant age should be less
than 30 years.
4. Applicant's annual income should
be less than Rs.1,20,000/- including parental income.
5. Applicant should enclose a copy
of Admission/Identity Card indicating the course in which he has been
admitted by Dr.BRAOU.
b) For Second year (P.G/Professional
Programmes) students who have receive scholarship last year
1. All receipients of
previous year are required to apply again in the new application form,
which has been modified by SAF with the new software.
2. The selection for
continuation of scholarship for second year students of Master's courses
is again based on merit (the total marks scored in the first year)
provided they have completed the first passing in all the subjects in
one attempt.
